     First: technical terms
     Pressure: while gas molecule passing from one supposed plane, the momentum changing ratio along the plane in orthogonal normal line, divide the normal direction weight of plane proportion or gases molecule acting on its vessel wall surface, divide its surface proportion.

     Saturated vapour pressure: under the appointed temperature, (the steam of some substances agglomerated with themselves in the steam pressure of the substance under gaseity balanced state.).
     Jet vacuum pump: a kind of momentum transmission pump which use the high speed jet flow produced by pressure reducing of the effect of (venturi) transport gas to outlet. Jet vacuum pump can be used to adhibit stagnation and work under transition condition.
     Gas jet vacuum pump: a kind of jet vacuum pump takes non-condensable gas as working medium.
     Suction capacity of vacuum pump: the quantity of passing the inlet of vacuum pump, (symbol; Q).
     Second: basic knowledge of steam flow vacuum pump
     Steam flow vacuum pump is a kind of device, which takes steam flows as suction medium to gain vacuum.
     Steam flow vacuum pump includes steam jet pump, steam pressure pump and steam diffused pump. The suction mechanism is based on high-speed athletic vapor stream with pumped mixing gases and energy exchanging to realize the suction function.
     The application range of water steam jet pump is quite wide (1×105~10-2Pa), and large suction capacity (single number kg/h to hundreds kg/h quality flux), there is no strict request for pumped medium , free from pollution of pumped medium, the water steam jet pump can be used no matter the temperature of pumped medium or weather there is any dust, impurity and corrosion. Working safely and reliably, lower running expense, conveniently operation and servicing.
     As the water steam jet pump has the advantages above, it used popularly in vacuum, metallurgy, vacuum de-oxygen, vacuum soakage, vacuum freeze drying, vacuum inspissations, vacuum distill, vacuum refrigeration, vacuum transportation and the manufacture of chemical fibre and modern space navigation career etc.
     Water seam jet pump consists of ejector, condenser, muffler.
     Ejector consists of nozzle, suction inlet and diffuser.
     Condenser can be divided into atmosphere condenser (mixing condenser or direct contact condenser) and surface condenser (indirect condenser).
     Atmosphere condenser also can be divided into spray condenser and orifice condenser, the function of both is attempt to tuning cooling water into thin column, descending with water curtain, enlarge heat exchange area. The mixture of cooling water and concreting water are transported by a cooling water pipe to hot water pool. The structure of surface condenser is an array pipe formula (duct hull type). Condenser is mainly used to decrease the suction loads of lower ejector by condensing the condensable steam of working steam and pumped gas.
     Muffler is provided at the final stage ejector (which leads to atmosphere stage) to eliminate operating noise.
     Water steam jet pump must be installed strictly according to the size and technical requirements on general drawings. The prepared condensation water and steam temperature or pressure should be strictly abided by the equipped requirements. After installation completed, gas tightness test should be cayyied out, and must meet the national standards.
    
     Third: basic knowledge of vacuum pressure sterilizer, steam sterilizer.
     Vacuum pressure steam sterilizer is a kind of medical appliance that supply steam to sterilizer under vacuum. state.
